Job Overview:
You will join our growing team of associate linguists working on an exciting Natural Language Processing Program. You understand that language data is the underpinning of all current language
technologies. You love practical language analysis as well as theoretical.
*Responsibilities & Duties:
· Annotate linguistic data and contribute to grammar development work
· Process and regress Field annotators defects
· Identify and address gaps in annotations
· Evaluate, update, and distribute annotation guidelines
· Monitor data acquisition and curation
· Develop and/or review gold data in consultation with the client
*Qualifications:
· Degree in Linguistics, Speech Science, or related Language fields
· Native-level proficiency in French (From Canada) and fluency in English
· Some experience annotating data with linguistic, syntactic,
semantic, pragmatic, phonetic, phonological, or prosodic information, depending
on the requirements of the project and your area of linguistic specialization
· Desirable (but not a must) Python language programming
· Be eligible to work in Ireland (Stamp 4, Stamp 1G or EU passport)
· Preferred 1 year+ working experience (can be internship)
