About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events Executive to join the Business Development & Marketing team of a leading and well-established law firm based in Dublin city centre. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director and working as part of a close-knit team of two, this role offers the chance to deliver high-impact corporate events in a professional services environment.
The successful candidate will bring a proven background in corporate event management, ideally within the legal, financial, or wider professional services sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Live Event Management
- Plan, organise, and execute a variety of firm-wide events including seminars, client entertainment, and corporate hospitality
- Manage all event administration, including registration processes, CPD certificates, guest communications, and post-event reviews
Agency & Supplier Coordination
- Liaise with external suppliers (AV, venues, printing, etc.) to ensure the smooth delivery of events
Sponsorship & Membership Activities
- Research and coordinate corporate sponsorship opportunities and support firm involvement in industry memberships
Corporate Hospitality
- Manage in-house and external hospitality initiatives (e.g. guest lists, table layouts, catering, collateral printing)
General Administration
- Handle invoicing, payment tracking, and ad-hoc event-related tasks
- Support the wider BD & Marketing team on campaigns and internal initiatives
Merchandise & Materials
- Maintain stock and coordinate the distribution of branded merchandise (e.g. notepads, umbrellas, t-shirts, pens)
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in event management or corporate hospitality, ideally within a professional services environment
- Strong experience managing external agencies/suppliers
- Exposure to event marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Confidence in setting up and using basic AV/IT equipment for live or virtual events
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines
- A team-oriented mindset, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
