The Occupational Therapy Assistant will work as a Stroke Rehabilitation Assistant under the direction and guidance of the Occupational Therapist to support the provision of Occupational Therapy Services. 

Duties:

The primary role of the Occupational Therapy Assistant is to assist the Occupational Therapist in the implementation of the treatment programme as determined by the Occupational Therapist.

The role involves collaborating with the Occupational Therapist, while demonstrating a knowledge of the practice of the Occupational Therapist and the role of the Occupational Therapy Assistant.

The candidate:

Interested candidates will have a qualification for Occupational Therapy Assistants - the FETAC (NCVA Level 5) Health Care Support Certificate including the modules on Occupational Therapy Assistant Theory and Occupational Therapy Assistant Practice or equivalent.

Qualified Occupational Therapist awaiting Coru registration.

Must have permission to work in Ireland
