Ireland’s largest agricultural publication is hiring an account assistant for their office based in Dublin 12.
This position is for an 11-month fixed term contract with view for extension/permanency. The role offers a competitive salary, strong benefits package, hybrid working and onsite parking.
Responsibilities:
Sales/ Receivables Ledger
· Posting and allocation of receipts to ledger, preparing lodgements for bank
· Issue invoices as required
· Debtor account reconciliations
· Liaise with Credit Control and Commercial Sales Staff
· Month-end processing statement-run
Purchases/ Supplier Ledger
· Maintain purchases ledger in INTACT Accounts System and TRAX Supplier Invoice Processing system. Ensure all details are up to date and correct.
· Create new supplier accounts.
· Create new supplier invoice templates in TRAX.
· Process invoices via TRAX into INTACT ensuring all of the required details are correct
· Oversee operation of TRAX with users.
· Ensure all invoices are processed as part of monthly processing.
· Run required reports.
· Reconcile supplier ledger accounts to statements.
· Operate monthly payment-run.
· Oversee smooth operation of the Expenses App and processing of expenses.
Experience/Skills Required:
· 4 years previous experience in a similar account’s role
· Computer literacy: Excel, IT Accounts Systems, Outlook
· Experience of call-handling and dealing with customer queries
· Honesty, Attention to detail, Ability to work to strict deadlines
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
