Accounts Payable Specialist:

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their indigenous food manufacturing company based in Cork. Our client is an employer of choice in Cork and is experiencing rapid growth.

Job Description:

·      Reviewing and verifying invoices and cheque requests.

·      Sorting, coding and matching invoices before setting them up for payment.

·      Preparation and processing of electronic transfers and payments.

·      Maintenance of vendor files.

·      Liaising with clients.

·      Working to continuously improve the payment processes of your company.

·      Ensuring the correct supporting documentation is available for audits.

Requirements:

·      Accounting degree / equivalent qualification preferred.

·      3-4 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational or shared service centre environment.

·      Experience using SAP Business 1 is a significant advantage.

·      Proficient on Microsoft Suite including Excel

·      Detail orientated with the ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.

·      Experienced with high volume invoice processing.

·      Excellent communication skills.

·      Team player.
