What You Will Be Doing
- Prepare and review financial statements for investment funds and financial services entities in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and other local standards.
- Manage end-to-end financial reporting for multinational clients, liaising with auditors, administrators, and investment managers.
- Take full ownership of deliverables, ensuring accuracy, high-quality output, and timely completion under tight deadlines.
- Support senior management and partners with ad hoc financial reporting and regulatory advisory projects.
- Research and resolve technical accounting issues, providing insights aligned with the latest standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, anticipating needs and supporting long-term workload planning.
- Review team deliverables, offering constructive feedback to ensure clarity, consistency, and technical precision.
- Use MS Word and Excel to draft and review financial statements, ensuring correct content, format, and accuracy.
- Maintain professional standards in language, grammar, and formatting across all client-facing documents.
- Delegate tasks effectively and foster open communication to drive collaboration and project success.
What You Will Need
- Recently or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Experience in financial reporting and/or audit within investment funds; prior experience in a leading professional services firm is an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, with sound judgment and a practical, commercial approach.
- Proven track record of producing and reviewing high-quality financial statements with meticulous attention to detail.
- Confident in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, to support analysis and reporting.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities under pressure.
- A proactive team player who enjoys mentoring, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Legal entitlement to work in Ireland.
