B2B Customer Account Executive – East Galway - Hybrid
Overview
This role is part of a newly restructured B2B Account Management team, transitioning from traditional customer service into a commercially focused, operationally critical function. You will manage key customer accounts and oversee high-value orders end-to-end, ensuring precise coordination across internal departments.
You will act as the central point of contact for your customer portfolio, ensuring smooth execution, proactive issue management, and delivery performance that meets commercial expectations.
Product knowledge will be provided; strong business acumen and cross-functional coordination skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a defined portfolio of B2B customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all account activity.
- Own the end-to-end order lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proactive problem resolution.
- Liaise daily with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and Customs to guarantee operational alignment and on-time delivery.
- Track, analyse, and interpret customer order trends to produce reliable forecasts and performance insights.
- Monitor high-value orders closely and escalate risks early to prevent commercial impact.
- Maintain accurate customer records and reporting across systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and Excel-based tools.
- Provide clear communication to both internal teams and customers, ensuring expectations are aligned at all stages of the process.
- Support commercial planning with data-driven analysis, identifying opportunities to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in B2B account management, customer operations, supply chain coordination, or a comparable commercial role.
- Experience in regulated or complex industries such as Pharma, MedTech, Agri, Manufacturing, or similar is advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand financial impact, customer priorities, and operational risk.
- Proven ability to coordinate across multiple internal departments in a fast-moving, time-sensitive environment.
- High attention to detail, especially regarding schedules, documentation, and order accuracy.
- Confident communicator able to influence stakeholders and maintain clear, consistent dialogue.
- High proficiency in Excel for data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, reporting).
- Exposure to SAP, Salesforce, or similar systems is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Comfortable presenting structured insights through a case study exercise.
