My client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper on a part time basis, 23-25 hours a week. This role is based East of Cork City.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain debtor and creditor accounts
- Process customer invoices, payments, and cash receipts
- Manage credit control and resolve invoice queries with customers
- Input and maintain vendor invoices; generate and process payment runs
- Perform bank, credit card, and monthly account reconciliations
- Prepare bi-monthly VAT returns, VIES/Intrastat, and monthly journals
- Maintain multicurrency exchange rates and accurate filing systems
- Liaise with auditors and prepare audit documentation
