IT Business Analyst – 3 – 6 month contract (€200 - €215/day) – Hybrid (Dublin Based)
Reporting to the Head of IT Projects, the IT Business Analyst supports the delivery of IT projects and initiatives by analysing business needs and translating them into clear, structured requirements.
The role is suitable for both developing and experienced Business Analysts, with responsibilities and autonomy increasing in line with experience, capability and complexity of assigned work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE
Formal Education
· Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in IT, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline.
· Formal qualification in Business Analysis or Project Management desirable.
Work Experience
· Experience in a business, IT, systems or analytical role.
· Experience in requirements gathering, documentation and testing is desirable but not essential.
· Exposure to IT project delivery environments is an advantage.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
· Participate in requirements workshops, interviews and stakeholder meetings.
· Produce and maintain requirements documentation, process maps and test cases.
· Support solution design, testing and transition into live operation.
· Maintain analysis documentation and traceability.
· Liaise with project teams, IT colleagues and vendors as required.
· Identify opportunities for business process improvement.
· Escalate risks, issues and uncertainties appropriately.
