Business Development Executive
I am currently seeking a Business Development Executive for my client who are a a well-established, growing environmental services business with strong roots in the West of Ireland. The role is based in Galway and would suit someone who genuinely knows the city and county, someone who understands the local business landscape, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in being part of the community.

The Role
- Develop new business opportunities across Galway city and county
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial conversation through to agreement
- Represent the business professionally within the local market
- Plan your own schedule with flexibility and independence
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Maintain basic sales activity and pipeline reporting
The Team
You’ll join a collaborative and growing sales team covering different service areas, working closely with senior leadership. There is a genuine open-door culture, with ideas and suggestions welcomed and taken seriously.
About You
- Experience in business development, field sales, or relationship-focused roles
- Strong local knowledge of Galway city and county
- Comfortable building rapport with a wide range of clients
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
- Positive, professional approach with genuine interest in the sector
- Open to both developing and experienced candidates
