Cpl Healthcare in partnership with Centric Specialist Care are looking to recruit an experienced Dermatology Nurse.
Interested candidates must be a
· Registered general nurse.
· Significant post registration experience and excellent organisational and communication skills.
· Good knowledge of Dermatology and experience of delivering Dermatology treatments is essential. Also, you must be willing to undertake any necessary training.
- Must be a Registered General Nurse with An Bord Altranais
· Experience in performing minor skin procedures, cryotherapy
· Experience in managing chronic skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis
· Specific dermatology qualifications (Desirable)
· Experience in laser treatment (e.g. for BCC) ( Desirable)
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone skills
· Computer literate
· Commitment to quality and excellent patient care in the practice

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
· Assist with or independently deliver skin examinations to diagnose patients.
· Taking patients’ medical history with skin care focus
· Record, report, and communicate test results as part of the team ensuring all pathology is efficiently managed.
· Explain test results and follow up plan to patients.
· Educate patients on proper skincare.
· Provide pre-procedure guidance to patients and inform patients of post-procedure care
· Perform or assist with cosmetic procedures, phototherapy, and laser treatments
· Treating various skin wounds such as post-op dressings, burns, ulcers, and skin tears
· Mole mapping
Job Details
- Contract: Permanent Part Time or Full Time
- Hours: Between 7 -40 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Across Monday – Friday (Working days and times are flexible but must be on site)
