One of the best Nursing Home Groups in Ireland are looking for a Director of Nursing .
The Nursing Home is in Co. Meath is an award winning Nursing Home where their Residents always come first.
We are looking for a DON with prior experience , excellent leadership qualities, a positive disposition, and strong clinical skills to work with and lead our fabulous team of Nurses, Carers, Catering, Housekeeping and Administration staff to deliver safe, person centred, high quality care to our lovely residents in the beautiful setting .
The ideal candidate should have the following skills in order to be shortlisted for the role:
Professional Registration
- Must be a Registered Nurse with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience in care of the older person.
- At least 3 years in a nursing management role, preferably within a nursing home or similar long-term care setting.
Education
- Hold a minimum Level 8 qualification (Ordinary Bachelor's Degree or higher) in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
- A postgraduate qualification in Nursing Management, Gerontology, Healthcare Leadership, or Healthcare Management is strongly preferred.
