We are delighted to partner with our biopharmaceutical client in the search for a Document Controller/ Technical Process Writer. This is an exciting opportunity to join an international organization where you will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality documentation that supports global supply chain operations.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical writing expertise, an excellent understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to translate complex operations into clear, user-friendly documentation. This is an initial 12 months contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain detailed documentation for global supply chain processes (SOPs, work instructions, process maps, training materials).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, process owners, and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Review and update existing materials to reflect process, system, or regulatory changes.
- Create visual aids (flowcharts, diagrams) to improve clarity and usability.
- Manage document control processes, including version control and approvals.
- Conduct regular documentation audits for consistency and compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to supply chain staff on documentation use.
- Stay up to date with best practices and industry trends in supply chain documentation.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Technical Writing, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain management, technical writing, or process documentation.
- Strong knowledge of global supply chain processes and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and document management systems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies (a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Supply chain certification (APICS, CSCP).
- Experience in a global or multinational environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
