Cpl is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the insurance sector, for an Education Development Specialist in the Insurance Industry. This is a permanent role based in Dublin 1, with a hybrid working model. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in designing, developing, and delivering educational content and programmes, particularly within the insurance, financial services, or professional education sectors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop learner-focused materials, including textbooks, microlearning, and study supports.
- Manage educational projects in collaboration with authors, examiners, and lecturers.
- Support learners through the assessment process, including exam preparation and result coordination.
- Ensure compliance with academic standards and national qualification frameworks.
- Gather feedback from students and members to improve learning content.
- Analyse learner data to support course design and learner engagement.
- Stay updated on academic and industry trends to inform team projects.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets.
- Represent the Institute at events and external meetings.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience creating or reviewing educational content, ideally in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to tools like Camtasia or Articulate.
- A third-level qualification OR 5+ years in an education development role.
- Professional insurance qualification (e.g. APA, CIP) or interest in the insurance sector.
- Strong communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
