Field Sales Representative - Recent Graduate

Our client, a long-established & highly regarded national distributor of technical, engineering & hardware products, are now expanding nationwide & looking to hire a B2B Territory Sales Representative to join the team.

The Job:

As a key part of the national sales team, you will cover a territory ranging from Cork to Galway/Mayo but with a main focus on the Cork, Limerick & Galway cities. You will be responsible for new business development in your region as well as managing & growing the existing corporate/commercial client base, managing the launch of new products to market & delivering on targeted growth plans for your territory.

You will also take ownership of pricing enquiries & quotation/tendering proposals for customers, research & identify new business opportunities in your region, understand competitor offerings, prepare detailed sales KPI reports & support the winder team & managers in their strategic sales duties.

Your Skills & Experience that we need:

3rd level degree qualified ideally in business studies, commerce or a related discipline.
1-2+ years field sales experience ideally but candidates with office based sales experience or a keen interest in sales will also be considered.
Proven experience in client management & sales engagement.
Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to engage with customers at all levels.
Strong IT knowledge & ability to multitask across different product ranges.
Full & ideally clean Irish driving license.

The Offer:

The is a full time/permanent position with base salary, depending on experience/qualifications, of approx. 35k with OTE of approx. 10-15k on top. In addition there is a company vehicle, fuel card, phone, laptop, training supports & other benefits.

Territory to be covered will focus on Cork, Limerick & Galway but also to include Kerry, Clare & Mayo.
