Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer – Field-based (operating from Cookstown Depot) - £45k+

Cpl Ni are pleased to work with a leading equipment rental company to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer.  This role is full-time and permanent.

Duties:

·      Carry out maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy plant and powered access machinery.

·      Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently.

·      Provide technical support and advice to customers on equipment use and maintenance.

·      Maintain detailed service records and documentation.

·      Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company standards.

·      Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Criteria:

·      Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of plant or heavy equipment.

·      Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.

·      Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

·      Great attention to detail and commitment to quality.

·      Confident communicator with good customer service skills.

·      Full, valid driving licence.
