SiriusXM’s new Dublin facility comprises a workforce focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, adtech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in Dublin will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM’s streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.
How you’ll make an impact:
SiriusXM is looking to continue to expand it's operations and innovate our Dublin Office. We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance. This role will be instrumental in driving strategic financial decisions and supporting the growth of our business. A key element to the role will be the management of local regulatory and tax authorities. Experience with start-ups or Greenfield projects new to Ireland is highly advantageous.
What you’ll do:
- Financial Reporting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close; deliver timely and accurate management and group reporting; prepare flux/variance analyses and disclosure support.
- Statutory Accounts & Audit: Prepare Irish statutory financial statements (FRS 102 or IFRS, as applicable) with full supporting schedules; manage external audit to on-time sign-off.
- Group Reporting & Consolidation: Align local ledgers with U.S. HQ; prepare US GAAP↔IFRS mapping, support eliminations, and resolve consolidation queries.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop, review, and finalize internal/external financial management reports; partner with FP&A on forecasts and budgets.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee Irish direct and indirect taxes—corporation tax, VAT, payroll taxes—working with advisors and Group Tax; support queries from Irish Revenue.
- SOX & Financial Controls: Own local SOX 404 narratives, walkthroughs, and testing; monitor controls, review balance sheet reconciliations, drive remediation with Internal Audit.
- Intercompany & Transfer Pricing: Manage cross-border recharges, reconcile intercompany balances, and support OECD BEPS-aligned TP documentation (master/local files).
- Treasury & FX: Lead cash forecasting, liquidity management, and FX remeasurement/hedge documentation in line with Group Treasury policy.
- Payroll Oversight: Coordinate with HR/providers to ensure PAYE Modernisation compliance; review payroll postings, BIK, PRSI/USC, and monthly reconciliations.
- Compliance & Data Governance: Embed GDPR-aligned finance data controls and retention policies; ensure secure handling of sensitive information.
- ESG/CSRD Readiness: Partner with Sustainability/Legal on EU CSRD requirements; implement controls over non-financial data and audit readiness.
- Project Management: Lead finance projects and process improvements, including IDA grants administration and R&D tax credit claims.
- Commercial Partnering: Provide finance input on contracts, pricing/promotions, ROI analyses, and vendor negotiations.
- Stakeholder Management: Primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors, banks, legal counsel, and government agencies; prepare Board/Exec finance packs.
What You'll Need:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP & IFRS.
- Working knowledge of local R&D grants and tax credits.
- Proficiency in financial systems, including Oracle and Blackline.
- Ability to leverage automation technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Alteryx to streamline business processes, enhance data workflows, and drive operational efficiency.
