My client a leading Irish Plc have an immediate requirement for a Finance Assistant for an initial 6 month contract to start asap.
Hybrid- 1-2 days in Waterford.
Day to day tasks will include:
- Assist with the preparation of Intercompany Reconciliations across the group
- Prepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of cash records while escalating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist with the preparation and execution of payment runs, taking responsibility for accuracy and compliance with internal controls while gaining exposure to the treasury processes.
- Contribute to the management of direct credit control by monitoring outstanding receivables and supporting customer follow-ups.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field required
- Suitable for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of post-qualification experience.
