Finance Manager
My client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join their team.
The Role
· Oversee and manage key financial processes including premium collection, claims payments, bank reconciliations, Stripe management, and financial controls. T
· The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial operations, strong technical accounting skills, and familiarity with payment systems. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining financial accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency.
· The Finance Manager will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing the Financial Controls Framework.
· This will involve attending external meetings with partners, managing relationships with our banks and payment providers, and providing management information (MI) reports on financial operations.
· You will also be responsible for reviewing aged debtors, managing claims payment control accounts, and documenting financial policies and processes to enhance internal controls, such as segregation of duties and payment authorisation levels.
· In addition to day-to-day operational management, the Finance Manager will lead process improvements and explore forward-looking payment solutions. You will also enhance Netsuite functionality to streamline financial reporting.
This is an opportunity to get involved early in structuring the finance function, particularly the operations function however also developing the wider finance function.
Requirements:
· Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and have at least five years of experience in financial operations, particularly in premium collections, claims payments, and reconciliations.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be highly accurate and detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills for engaging with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
· Experience in process improvement, project management, and insurance will be advantageous.
