About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a leading international financial services organisation. The successful candidate will support the preparation of management accounts, financial reporting, and regulatory submissions across several entities. This role reports to the Head of Finance and involves close collaboration with senior management and other finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, board papers, and financial reports.
- Support annual statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Assist with quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and variance analysis. Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory returns.
- Manage VAT submissions, accounts payable/receivable reconciliations, and cash flow planning.
- Oversee treasury activities, including payments and investment accounts.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.
- Contribute to ad hoc finance projects as required.
Skills & Experience
- Third-level qualification in Accounting or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong Excel skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Word essential.
- Experience with financial or regulatory reporting tools (e.g., SAS, OneSumX) advantageous.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
