The role:
You will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and driving cost optimisation within the company. This individual will manage the finance/accounts team, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations, and providing valuable insights to senior management for decision-making.
· Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
· Lead the budgeting process by preparing and reviewing annual budgets, in collaboration with department heads.
· Manage and optimise cash flow, ensuring liquidity for daily operations and future investments.
· Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
What we’re looking for:
· 3-5 years experience in a similar role
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
· CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA
· Experience in the transport sector
