Group Financial Accountant- Dublin 4 contract ( Insurance)
Hybrid working- 3 days in office and 2 from home
The role is responsible for supporting the group accounting function, focusing on the group close process, SEC reporting and the oversight of the accounting systems for the group on a global basis. The Group Financial Accountant is a key role which will work across our accounting and technology functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to build valuable experience with a best-in-class finance function.
Daily tasks will include:
- Assist with the group’s SEC quarterly reporting and consolidation process
- Assist with the quarterly group close planning and roll forwards
- Assist with the preparation of group financials and supporting workbooks
- Reconciling the group eliminations and consolidation business units
- Liaise with external auditors as required
- Supporting the finance team with group processes and training
Ideal candidate will be:
- Recently qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- US GAAP experience desirable
