The Role
The main objective will be to support the Group Chief Information Officer and senior executive team by developing The Group’s expanding I.T. portfolio and by leading and managing all levels of support for Retail, Financial, Operational and Management Information Systems, in a secure and controlled manner which achieves maximum competitive advantage for all businesses.
The successful candidate will be an experienced I.T. professional who can demonstrate the ability to prioritise, effectively manage and deliver on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and has the passion and ambition to develop business applications portfolio & document processes and procedures in line with The Group’s I.T. and business strategies.
Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline required with at least 5 - 7 years postgraduate business experience.
· A confident, commercially aware proactive problem-solver with excellent communication & interpersonal skills who can deal with staff & management at all levels & has the confidence to challenge senior management & existing processes in a constructive manner.
· Demonstrate strong team management experience and people development.

Skills
· Excellent ERP systems and application experience including knowledge of Financial and Production systems. (Knowledge of ERP and MRP systems: any of Junifer, Integra, Fuelsoft, eFACS would be advantageous).
· Strong process and functional experience in core business areas such as Pricing and Billing, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Production, Warehousing, Stock Control and bespoke applications.
· Strong technical experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases relating to schemas, tables, queries, views, stored procedures, and general query writing using tools such Oracle SQL Developer/SQL Server Management Studio etc.
· Reporting tools and development in Tableau.
· Experienced with Document Management systems
· Experienced at system integration (3rd party systems and between internal systems).
· Understanding of Microsoft virtual environments and Microsoft Azure.
· Experienced in delivering first class and timely business solutions.
