Cpl is working in partnership with an award-winning engineering business in Newry to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to join their successful team in a newly created role.

Your new role
As HR Business Partner you will deliver high-quality HR operational and strategic support across this business aligning HR initiatives with overall business goals.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide expert guidance on people-related matters, develop and implement HR strategies, and work with managers to improve organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment: Partnering with business leaders to understand objectives, challenges, and workforce needs, and translating these into effective HR strategies.
- HR Expertise: Providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of HR, including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and compensation.
- Employee Relations: Assisting managers in handling complex employee relations issues, such as performance management, attendance, and disciplinary matters.
- Talent Management: Contributing to recruitment, onboarding, training, and development initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
- Performance Management: Supporting managers in implementing performance management processes and driving employee performance.
- Data Analysis: Analysing HR data to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, and inform decision-making.
What you’ll need to succeed?
- Strong experience working in a HR BP role working within a fast-paced working environment
- CIPD Level 5
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with candidates, hiring managers, and employees at all levels.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and recruitment tools (e.g., applicant tracking systems, job boards, LinkedIn).
- Understanding of UK and ROI employment law and right-to-work requirements, with the ability to ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues across multiple departments.
- A self-starter with the ability to anticipate the needs of the team and contribute to HR projects.
