ICT Support Specialist – Hybrid Role (Dublin City)
Technical Skills & Responsibilities:
- Support ICT infrastructure and applications, including:
- Desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers/copiers
- Network, telecommunications, and remote access systems
- Network authentication, email, and security systems
- Off-the-shelf desktop software and enterprise applications
- Bespoke applications, workflow systems, and web portals
- European and industry-related external systems
- Maintain data accuracy, quality, and integrity across ICT systems
- Assist with ICT projects and system development/maintenance
- Adhere to best practices for internal and third-party software/hardware
Service Delivery & Stakeholder Management:
- Provide within-hours service desk coverage per schedule
- Keep stakeholders informed on ticket/change progress, delays, and next steps
- Liaise with ICT team or external providers to escalate tickets for prompt resolution
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and change management principles
- Relevant ICT certifications (MCP, ECDL, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications
- Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware and software
- Experience with mobile and smart devices configuration
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server technology, application servers, database servers, and SharePoint
Role Details:
- Hybrid working: 3 days from home, 2 days on-site (Dublin City)
- 35-hour working week
- 23 days annual leave + 2 additional days
- Salary: €35,609 – €54,914 per annum (incremental scale)
- Must have a valid visa to work in Ireland
