Logistics Specialist - Cork

Our client, an established Cork based business is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics’ professional to join their team. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day logistics while assisting with customer support when needed along with monitoring delivery costs and time management.

The ideal candidate will have a background within a regulated industry, a strong data entry background along with vendor relations and experience working with third party logistics companies.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Track and update safety records while reviewing processes regularly.

·      Compile and analyze data on inventory, transportation, and costs.

·      Generate weekly and monthly reports for the sales team and leadership.

·       Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements

·      Manage supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

·      2-3 years’ experience in Logistics and Inventory management.  

·      Effective communication skills

·      Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

·      Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
