Our client, a sustainable waste management company, is seeking to hire a Maintenance Coordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and completion of maintenance activities in a timely manner on the site within budget, operating strictly to internal and external H&S regulations and guidelines, including control of contractors.
Duties:
- Review/update and administrate the maintenance tasks in SAP
- Reviewing of method statements and risk assessments and control of contractors at the Facility
- Identify root cause of breakdown, determine and implement solutions.
- Book Out Spare Parts.
- Co-ordinate repairs of equipment
- Follow the company Safe System of Work: Permits, Risk Assessment
- Complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance checks & complete checklists where required.
- Manage contractors on site carrying out preventive maintenance tasks.
- Generate corrective work orders where follow up is required.
- Manage contractors during project works to ensure site standard of installation has been met.
- Commissioning of new projects/plant & equipment
- Control of bulk and non-bulk consignments/sampling into and out of the SRF including empties in SAP and other relevant spreadsheets/BBR’s.
- Operational control of SCADA to ensure safe operation
- Processing of shipment documentation for outgoing and incoming bulk consignments
Required knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience:
- Completed apprenticeship in Electrical, Instrumentation or Electrical & Instrumentation or an Ordinary bachelor’s degree in an Electrical Engineering course.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Maintenance module in SAP
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating processing plant and equipment
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Leadership skills with a hands-on approach
- Experience in planning and scheduling
- General electrical & instrumentation experience
- Experience with emissions monitoring systems.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of a planning tool/application.
- Knowledge and experience with the SAP
- Knowledge and experience of MS applications & PC based applications
