The business has a strong presence in the market and is seeking a senior professional to lead the next phase of strategic development. The role will involve responsibility for driving revenue growth, enhancing profitability, and collaborating with colleagues across Europe, Asia, and North America to strengthen the organisation’s market position and service offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with an international leadership team to support the continued growth of fund administration, depositary, capital markets, and corporate services.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to an experienced local team, fostering a collaborative and client-focused culture.
- Lead organisational change initiatives and ensure alignment with local leadership and operational teams.
- Partner with regional leaders across operations, shareholder services, capital markets, risk, and compliance to ensure consistency across international offices.
- Hold full P&L responsibility for the Netherlands business.
- Drive strategic initiatives focused on business development, operational efficiency, and service excellence.
- Work closely with risk and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Lead negotiations on complex strategic client engagements and commercial agreements.
- Develop commercial strategies and market positioning to strengthen brand presence and competitive advantage.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and key external meetings.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and new business development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, intermediaries, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
- Set performance objectives for key functions and leadership reports.
- Oversee recruitment and development of senior talent within the business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing diverse, multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of the fund administration, depositary, governance, and trust services market in the Netherlands.
- Demonstrated experience leading organisations through periods of growth and transformation.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks and organisational structures.
- Experience implementing and maintaining robust risk and compliance frameworks.
- Strong client service orientation with a commitment to delivering high standards.
- A successful track record in a senior leadership role within the fund services industry.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive revenue growth, profitability, and cash flow management.
- Proactive, motivated, and dynamic leadership style.
- Degree educated (finance, economics, or accounting background preferred).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
