Role Overview:
IBM is seeking a senior Oracle E-Business Suite (OEBS) Functional Lead with strong finance domain expertise to support a Finance Transformation programme for UE.
This is a senior consulting role requiring a resource who can operate at both strategic and hands-on levels. The successful candidate will work with IBM and client stakeholders to assess current finance operations, define future-state processes, and help shape a Finance Transformation Plan aligned to Oracle OEBS capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as Functional Lead for Oracle OEBS within a finance transformation programme
• Engage senior finance stakeholders to understand end-to-end financial operations
• Assess current-state finance processes and OEBS usage
• Define future-state finance processes and target operating model
• Shape and contribute to the Finance Transformation Plan for IBM and UE
• Lead and support functional design workshops
• Translate business requirements into OEBS functional solutions
• Provide guidance on best practices, controls, and process optimisation
• Work closely with technical teams, architects, and programme leadership
• Support roadmap definition and delivery planning
Required Experience:
• Senior-level Oracle E-Business Suite functional experience
• Proven experience as a Functional Lead or Senior Functional Consultant
• Strong understanding of finance operations (GL, AP, AR, FA, P2P, O2C, R2R)
• Experience working on finance transformation programmes
• Consulting background with strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in large enterprise environments
Desirable Experience:
• Experience on IBM-led programmes
• Background in large-scale ERP or finance modernisation initiatives
• Strong workshop facilitation experience
