We are recruiting Academic Personal Assistants and Personal Assistants to provide on campus supports during the academic year.
Our Personal Assistant role is a one to one with a student, supporting them during their day on campus. The supports needed are as individual as the student, but generally include meeting them at the start of their day in the carpark or bus stop. Assisting them around campus, opening doors, carrying personal belongings, assisting with sourcing books in the library, assisting in the canteen as needed right through to the end of their day assisting them off campus. There could be personal care or activities of daily living required in this role. We would require you to have completed your full FETAC Level 5 / 6 in Healthcare.
Our Academic Personal Assistant role is also a one to one role assisting students around campus, assisting in the library / canteen, but includes Note Taking during lectures. We require you to have your own Level 7 (in any field).
The students support requirements are fully discussed with you prior to placement.
