A busy, locally-owned insurance brokerage based in Thurles is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their team as a Personal Lines Insurance Broker. Essential Requirements:
- Energy and drive with the ability to manage personal lines business in a team setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a confident telephone manner
- A strong focus on professionalism and integrity
- Minimum qualification of APA
- Experience using Applied Systems (Relay) is essential
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet systems
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Fully compliant with CPD requirements, including completion of 15 formal hours of relevant CPD annually
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and process renewals, new business quotations, and maintain an existing book of Personal Lines clients (motor, home, van)
- Advise clients on the most suitable cover while identifying cross-sell opportunities for additional policies
- Research and negotiate with insurers to provide clients with the best cover and value
- Manage day-to-day client queries, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), claims handling, and general account administration
