We are currently working with one of Northern Irelands main electronic manufacturing service companies, our client is a market leader within electronic manufacturing and due to significant growth and investment they are looking to add a Plant Manager to their team. Reporting to the Managing Director and as a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and financial performance of our manufacturing facility. With aspirations for growth, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our company both organically and through strategic acquisitions.

The Role:

·      Oversee and optimize all aspects of plant operations to ensure efficient and effective production processes.

·      Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance, productivity, and quality standards

·      Develop and manage budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and achieving financial objectives

·      Provide strong leadership and guidance to a diverse team of department managers and staff.

Personal Specification:

·      Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

·      Proven experience in a senior management role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in electronics or related sectors.

·      Strong operational and financial acumen, with a track record of achieving targets and driving profitability.

·      Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results.

·      In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

·      Proficient in P&L management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
