The Client
My Client is one of Irelands largest pharmaceutical manufacturers. Based in Co Down, but with locations globally. A vacancy has arisen for a Principal Scientist to join their senior Laboratory function.
The Role
The Clinical Laboratory conducts the extraction of drug actives from a wide range of biological matrices (plasma, milk, tissue etc.) prior to quantification utilising LC-MS or U/HPLC. The successful candidate will work in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) audit controlled environment assisting Laboratory Management in the everyday running of the laboratory.
The Person
· A relevant Biochemistry, Biomedical or other applicable Science based degree or a minimum of 5 – 10 year’s relevant experience.
· Experience in both method development & validation of LC-MS methods including experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, tuning and optimisation
· Excellent analytical technique
