CPL Recruitment are partnering with our client in Dublin South, to source a replacement production manager (facilities) due to internal promotion. This is a non-pharma/med device environment and would suit someone looking to step into a production manager role.
Key responsibilities:
• Full responsibility for the leadership and management of the company’s production team
• Involvement in developing, implementing and maintaining production strategies.
• Managing performance, Productivity, costs, finance and budgets.
• Ensuring a high level of performance and maintaining our customer base.
• Process and Plant development in conjunction with the Engineering
• Develop regular reviews of processes and practices
• Develop, monitor and update regular production plans
• Supervise and motivate a production team and oversee performance and identify training needs.
• Continuous review and planning for any training requirements,
• Ability to drive efficiencies, yield, and improve margins
• Implementation of best practice in Health & Safety compliance
• Strong commercial awareness
• Proven track record of motivating & developing individuals
• Track record of delivering results in a production environment
• Fluent oral and written English
• Strong communication, analytical and writing skills
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Third level degree or equivalent preferred
