Our client, a life sciences manufacturing facility in D24, requires an experienced Production Manager to manage daily operations of the production team. Reporting into the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the Shift Supervisors, Quality Team, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to drive improvements and ensure customer satisfaction. Role
• Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Ensure Process Efficiency: Oversee production processes, ensuring alignment with customer delivery schedules and overall production goals.
• Support Cleanroom Supervisor: Assist in meeting daily production targets by providing guidance and resolving any issues.
• Assign Workload: Allocate daily tasks to production team members, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
• Process Improvements: Suggest and implement improvements to enhance production capacity, quality, and overall efficiency.
•Training & Development: Organize training programs in partnership with HR to enhance employee skills and productivity.
• Investigate & Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot production-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Resource Management: Determine and manage material, manpower, and equipment needs for projects.
• Collaborate with Quality Team: Work closely with the Quality Team to ensure products meet the required specifications and customer expectations.
• Support Quality Systems: Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) and contribute towards maintaining high-quality standards.
• Customer Specifications: Ensure that final products meet customer requirements and specifications, taking corrective action as needed.
• Performance & Discipline: Manage employee performance, attendance, and discipline in line with company policies and HR procedures.
• Employee Development: Promote ongoing professional development and support team members in their career growth.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to the continuous development of internal processes and systems.
• Weekly & Monthly Meetings: Actively participate in weekly production and monthly management meetings to report progress, challenges, and future plans.
• Follow EHS Standards: Ensure the team follows Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies
