Construction Manager Consultant
Responsible for leading and coordinating on-site construction projects to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery. This role supports the successful execution and optimization of engineering projects at Regeneron’s Limerick site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with specifications.
- Enforce and promote health, safety, and environmental standards in accordance with company and statutory requirements.
- Foster a proactive safety culture by identifying and addressing unsafe behaviors or defects.
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and project teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on site performance and progress.
- Review technical drawings to ensure construction works align with design specifications and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Site Manager, preferably in the biopharma or life sciences sector.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
