About the Role
As a Project Worker, you will play a key role in delivering professional, compassionate support to single adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability. This service provides access to food, respite, advice, and information within a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes dignity, social inclusion, and positive engagement. Working closely with your team, you will help ensure that every customer feels respected, supported, and safe.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate within a flexible 7-day rota and undertake daily duties assigned within the service.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment, responding appropriately to incidents and challenging behaviours
- Engage and interact with customers, monitor well-being, and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including logs, contact notes, and incident reports.
- Mentor new team members, role model best practices, and support with monthly reports as required.
- Liaise with internal teams and external agencies, attending meetings, training, and supervision.
- Contribute to ongoing service development and undertake additional duties as directed by the Line Manager.
What You Will Need
- Relevant third-level qualification (e.g. social care, youth work, psychology, social studies, addiction studies).
- At least 2 years’ experience in the social care sector working with disadvantaged individuals.
- Working rights for Ireland.
- Strong English language skills.
- Experience supporting marginalised people who may present high-risk or challenging behaviour.
- Strong understanding of issues affecting people who are out of home and the impact on well-being.
- Knowledge of homeless services and supports (desirable).
- Awareness of child protection concerns and appropriate responses (desirable).
