Role Overview:
My client is seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience in financial services and a genuine interest in cryptocurrency, digital assets, and AI technologies. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys contributing to a growing company’s strategic and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts across approximately 30 entities (Ireland and international).
- Oversee and coordinate compliance, tax filings, regulatory filings, and statutory accounts.
- Manage and monitor cash flow statements and cash flow forecasting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to assist with strategic decision-making.
- Support the finance function with consolidation, variance analysis, and reporting.
- Assist with financial planning and scenario modelling .
- Work collaboratively with internal teams on finance and technology-driven projects.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation to enhance financial processes.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- 3+ years’ experience in financial services, fintech, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding or keen interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and digital assets.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and experience in financial modelling is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple entities and priorities.
- Familiarity or interest in AI tools and technologies is highly desirable.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams.
