Our client, a respected semi-state organisation, is seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to join their team based in Dublin, operating within a hybrid working model. This role will provide in-house cost management support across a diverse portfolio of developments, covering the full development lifecycle from early feasibility through to delivery asset management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to cost and viability management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare order-of-magnitude cost estimates and development budgets for early-stage residential projects.
- Carry out viability assessments and detailed cost modelling analyses.
- Support the procurement of design teams and construction delivery partners.
- Liaise closely with external consultants, building strong collaborative working relationships.
- Contribute cost, value engineering, procurement, and affordability input at design team workshops.
- Manage development budgets and monitor post-contract expenditure.
- Review and assess external quantity surveying reports, cost plans, and financial documents.
- Maintain and enhance internal databases, documentation, and cost management processes.
Requirements
- Degree or higher qualification in Quantity Surveying
- 10 years’ relevant experience with a PQS, or developer company.
- Experience in conservation works (preferred but not essential).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Chartered status or actively working towards chartership (MSCSI / MRICS)
