Science & Engineering Recruitment Consultant
Cpl are looking for a talented and experienced Science & Engineering Recruitment Consultant based in Galway to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be joining one of Ireland’s largest and most successful recruitment agencies.
You will have the chance to work on a fast-paced desk with immense growth potential in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Manufacturing) sector. You will receive comprehensive support from a dedicated team to ensure you are successful in this role.
The role will be based in our Galway office, with hybrid working available following the successful completion of the probation period.

The Role:
· Build personal book of business with all clients in Galway and the wider region.
· Predominantly focusing on a STEM-specialist desk – Permanent & Temporary
· Meet or exceed target fees & KPIs through development of long-term client relationships.
· Source high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and employer branding.
· Develop, maintain, and manage client accounts.
· Identify new business opportunities within the region by researching market trends and attending industry events.
· Take ownership for personal and professional development.
· Lead by example and ensure that Cpl best practices and Core Values are always demonstrated.
· Ensure a positive contribution to social media mediums to drive networking, candidate identification, and develop client relations.
· Manage recruitment administration tasks including contract negotiation, offer letters, and onboarding processes which align to the client.
Skills Required:
· Proven experience in a 360-recruitment agency role – Desired
· Strong track record of business development and meeting/exceeding targets
· A proactive person, who can spot an opportunity and action it without instruction
· Effective communicator and influencer with great energy and excellent presentation skills
· Ability to multitask and be delivery focused
· Motivated, hardworking, ambitious, resilient with a positive attitude
· Customer centric
· Proficient in working off own initiative
· Knowledge of recruitment software and CRM systems
