Recruitment Consultant
Cpl is looking to hire an Entry-Level Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing Recruitment Team in Galway City. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a background in sales, hospitality, retail, or customer service who are looking to build a successful career in recruitment.
You’ll receive market-leading training from experienced recruiters, gain immediate exposure to real clients and candidates, and work onsite in our Galway City Centre office (5 days per week during training). You’ll be part of a team that provides recruitment services to some of the most well-known employers in the West of Ireland—from multinational corporations to thriving local businesses and public sector organisations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Learn the full 360 recruitment process, including client management, candidate sourcing, interviews, and placements
- Support and grow a hot desk focused on roles in the Life Sciences sector
- Engage new and existing clients through business development and relationship building
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, and proactive outreach
- Manage interviews, feedback, and offers between candidates and clients
- Build your online brand and contribute to our positive reputation in the market
- Represent Cpl at local business and networking events
- Ensure accurate data input in our recruitment system
What We’re Looking For:
- A recent graduate or early-career professional with 0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, hospitality, retail, or customer service
- High-energy, enthusiastic, and resilient personality—you thrive on interaction and bouncing back from challenges
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and grow within a performance-driven team
- Must live within a commutable distance of Galway City and be available onsite full-time during training
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite – essential
- Previous experience in recruitment or use of LinkedIn Recruiter – a bonus, but not required
