Job Title: Refrigeration Shift Technician
Location: Dublin (with 2 weeks out of 4 monthly international travel, Data Centres)

On behalf of our client, a global provider of integrated facilities and energy solutions, we are currently welcoming applications for an experienced Refrigeration Shift Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration systems across Ireland and internationally, primarily within data centre environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, and commissioning of HVAC and refrigeration systems including air handling units, chillers, fire dampers, kitchen extract systems, and associated controls.
- Deliver a high standard of service to customers, ensuring equipment is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to all statutory and legislative requirements, health and safety regulations, appliance standards, and industry best practices.
- Provide support across customer sites in the Leinster region and internationally (approx. two weeks out of every four for overseas assignments).
- Escalate any risk or compliance concerns to your direct report promptly.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, management, suppliers, and specialists to meet client expectations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high professional standards at all times.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Applicants must be eligible for international travel, including possession of a valid passport and the legal right to travel to required destinations
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HVAC service technician role.
- Proven track record working on large commercial projects.
- Strong experience with servicing and maintaining a variety of HVAC equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage assignments without supervision.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with VSDs, motor starter controls, and a strong understanding of BMS systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Electrical and mechanical building services experience is essential.
- Professional certifications in HVAC or refrigeration (highly desirable).
- Proficient in using PC-based tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
- Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
