Senior Accountant /Finance Lead( Insurance)- Dublin 9/hybrid.
My client a leading insurance company have an immediate vacancy for a Senior
Accountant, the role reports to the Finance Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual and would suit a Qualified Accountant coming from practice who has worked with Insurance clients.
Key tasks will include:
· Preparation of quarterly accounting ledgers for a number syndicates.
· Preparation and review of key balance sheet reconciliations on a quarterly basis.
· Liaise with colleagues across Finance regarding quarterly close timelines and ad-hoc issues as they arise.
· Manage the workload and development of the team.
· Finance projects and process improvements
The ideal candidate will be:
· Qualified Accountant- ACA, ACCA & CIMA
· 2 years PQE
· Some insurance knowledge is required
