In partnership with its client Kenny-Whelan & Associates is currently seeking a Senior IT Project Manager (MES) for the Cork area.
The Client:
The Client is a well-established Pharmaceutical company in Cork
Profile:
This Role is a Senior IT PM with experience of managing large scale MES (Manufacturing Execution System) EBR (Electronic Batch Record) implementations within Pharma Manufacturing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This role will focus on Project Management to implement MES (Manufacturing Execution System) EBR (Electronic Batch Record) solution supporting the Manufacturing business
- This initiative includes but is not limited to:
Implementation of MES EBR and rollout to the site
Integration of the MES system with a number of key Enterprise systems
Implementation of a full Disaster Recovery solution
Change management & training across the site
The role will require proven prior experience in project management of large scale MES EBR initiatives at Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sites.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
To take full responsibility for the complete project life-cycle of the specified project starting with the Plan phase
To deliver the project on time, to budget and quality
To develop and manage the project budget including accurate financial forecasting
To manage a diverse group of stakeholders across different geographical regions
To establish the project plan, project schedule and resource plan
To monitor and track the progress of the project
To provide accurate, timely and transparent status updates to all levels of the business
To deliver accurate, concise and high quality project documentation
To manage the resolution of issues and concerns
To manage risks and change requests
To ensure appropriate resources are assigned to the project team
To work directly with end-users in resolving project issues and ensuring the project meets the business partners’ needs
To ensure orderly handover
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Prior experience with rollout of large scale MES EBR projects/ programs is a must. Experience with Werum PAS-X application is a bonus
Professional IT Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects in the Manufacturing domain
Solid knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
At least 8 years of experience in project management. PMP certification preferred, but prior success on the job is most critical
Fluency in the English language is essential
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, BIS, or other relevant qualification
- Project Management qualification essential
