Senior Speech and Language Therapist – Stroke Unit- Louth County Hospital
Speech and Language Therapist, Senior grade required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for a new opportunity based in Louth County Hospital.
The rehab service operates closely with the acute hospital in Drogheda. It is an 8 bed unit with good MDT support. There is opportunity to participate in supervision of staff grades and service development across the Louth Hospital group.
Job Responsibilities:
· Work with stroke patients in acute and or rehab settings. Experience of managing dysphagia in stroke. Videofluorscopy experience desirable.
The Candidate:
· A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy with CORU registration
· Relevant experience working with Stroke Patients.
· Permission to work in Ireland
· Professional approach to work
· Full driver’s licence and access to own vehicle desirable
The role will be offered on a temporary basis, 6 months approximately.
