Solutions Architect – Identity Platform Modernisation

We’re exclusively partnering with a global cybersecurity SaaS organisation embarking on a significant architectural transformation of its Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform.

• This is a fully remote role within Ireland.
• This is a true Architect-level position.
• Not a coordination-focused Program Manager.
• Not a delivery tracker.
• This is hands-on technical architecture leadership.

The Mission

The organisation is modernising a large-scale C# / .NET-based IAM platform into a secure, stateless, distributed, cloud-native architecture.

They need someone to define — and lead — the technical path forward.

You will bridge executive vision and engineering execution by:

• Designing the framework and platform modernisation strategy
• Leading architectural refactoring across legacy and modern .NET systems
• Defining migration paths from stateful to stateless services
• Driving database optimisation for high-concurrency workloads
• Embedding secure IAM principles across the architecture
• Translating architectural direction into technically precise, implementation-ready plans

This role requires someone who can read the code, understand deep C# dependencies, and specify architectural change at implementation level — not just at diagram level.

What You Bring

• Background as a Senior Engineer, Lead Engineer or Architect
• Deep C# and .NET expertise
• Strong Identity & Access Management experience
• Experience with OAuth2, OIDC, JWT and secure identity systems
• Proven success leading architectural modernisation initiatives
• Strong understanding of distributed, stateless systems
• Ability to convert strategic goals into technically detailed execution
