The Role
As Tax Director, you will play a central role in managing and developing client relationships while delivering strategic tax services. You will be exposed to a broad portfolio of indigenous and internationally owned businesses across multiple sectors including technology, R&D, manufacturing, distribution, and retail. This position combines advisory and compliance services, offering the right candidate a dynamic and rewarding leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing service delivery and developing strong relationships.
- Ensure all compliance and filing deadlines are met across all tax heads.
- Work closely with Partners to advise on tax structures, M&A, and succession planning.
- Contribute to the firm’s integrated client service team on wide-ranging advisory projects.
- Meet team and personal targets across billing, net fee income, and cash collection.
- Support business development and marketing initiatives at team and firm level.
Ideal Candidate
- CTA-qualified and a qualified accountant, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in practice.
- Strong technical expertise in Irish Tax legislation, case law, and guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client projects from planning to execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
