Technical Operations Lead
I am hiring an experienced Technical Operations Lead to drive technology delivery, support business strategy, and ensure reliable, secure IT services within a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver IT strategy aligned with business objectives and operational priorities
- Act as the key link between technology teams and senior stakeholders
- Lead and prioritise technology initiatives that improve efficiency and performance
- Oversee end-user support and service delivery, ensuring high quality and SLA compliance
- Drive continuous improvement across IT operations and service processes
- Manage IT projects, vendors, and outsourced partners to agreed scope, budget, and timelines
- Ensure strong governance, cybersecurity controls, and data protection compliance
- Monitor incidents, risks, and performance metrics, leading root-cause analysis and improvement actions
Leadership & People Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the IT Operations team (with future people leadership responsibility)
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in a technical operations or IT leadership role
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven delivery of complex IT projects
- Strong stakeholder management and business communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (Office 365, Dynamics, Power BI)
- Solid knowledge of infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, and GDPR
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or logistics environments is desirable
