Technical Sales Manager (SaaS)
Location: Hybrid Cork or Kerry based (Kerry – travel required 1-2 a month)

Our client is a rapidly growing B2B SaaS organisation that provides advanced energy‑management and business‑optimisation software to Solar PV contractors. Their platform enables solar installers to streamline operations, manage customer projects, monitor PV system performance, and support long‑term growth.
With a dedicated development team and a strong market presence in Ireland and the UK, the company is now expanding its commercial team and seeking an experienced SaaS Sales Manager / Account Manager.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving new business, delivering product demonstrations, managing the full sales cycle, and providing ongoing support to customers. This role focuses primarily on selling into solar contractors and includes opportunities for career progression as the company expands across Ireland and the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through proactive outreach and qualified leads
- Deliver online product demonstrations to prospective clients
- Manage the full SaaS sales cycle from initial contact to close
- Coordinate onboarding processes with internal technical teams
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts
- Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting
- Support customer retention and contribute to long‑term client success
- Build strong relationships with solar PV contractors in Ireland and eventually the UK
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in software or SaaS sales
- Strong background in account management
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise effectively
- Highly self‑motivated, organised, and target‑driven
- Exposure to the renewable energy or solar PV industry would be an advantage.
- Experience delivering software demos
- Understanding of subscription‑based revenue models
