At the briefing, Gerard Hussey of Xocet Consulting advised on how to link metrics and analytics to the HR Operating model and connect them with the business strategy. In order to deliver effective HR, organisations need to look at the following priority actions; talent, capabilities and leadership, organisational performance and engagement. Then for each of these priorities, HR teams need to the determine what metrics will be used to evaluate performance. For example, within engagement, this could be percentage of performance reviews captured online.
